Showing it's age, but I still love FarCry, made in 2004. Without FC, idk where I'd be, prolly never get a FF account, never have my own website, etc. I never took to Crysis, when I play it I only think of what i want in the game and it's flaws seem extra large to me... plus i suck at modding so i never got into Crysis real big like I am into FC.

No, I have, multiple times, I just can't right now because my damned graphics card died on me, so I had to put in my backup which is a GeForce 7300. Crysis isn't worth playing at THAT low of a level. I'll play it again when I can afford to shell out for a new card.

I guess in terms of older games that still feel great and fresh years later which I keep coming back to, Jet Grind Radio/Jet Set Radio Future's gotta be up there.

Didn't really like Jade Empire after I'd played it. The different fighting styles were basically gimmicks, there were two or three that worked well in my opinion, and differentiation between good and evil wasn't clear enough for my taste.

Not a bad game as such though.

Advent Rising had an awesome storyline, too bad the sequels got cancelled.

Why on earth did game companies like LucasArts stop making good adventure games? The humor on Sam'n'Max surpasses many modern titles! Even though new episodic content was released by Telltalegames & Steve Purcell, the creator of the comics, it doesn't quite come up to par with the original.

You can get TFTD dirtcheap over steam nowadays. Think it cost me something ridiculous like 5 dollars, and it's a classic. Brings back so many memories.

Yes, it's flawed. Yes, it's incomplete. It was still an awesome game that gave us the improvements we wanted over KOTOR 1. Hopefully the third game will be of epic proportions.

Did you enjoy Advent Rising? I heard it wasn't very good (gameplay wise). Though I can imagine the story was good, being written by Orson Scott Card.

The tricky thing about Terror From The Deep is that there is a certain sequence in which you have to research items, otherwise you end up half-way through the game with rubbish armor and basic ships going up against alien Dreadnoughts which take you out in one shot.

It's just something you have to know, there's no mention of it in the game.

The very first time I played, I screwed up my research so bad (spent too much time researching corpses, and not weapons), the first time I encountered lobstermen, I still had human rifles and grenades. I had heard lobstermen were tough, so with the very first lobsterman I saw, I hurled every grenade I had at him.

10 grenades, 1 torpedo, 7 dead men and 3 turns later, the lobsterman was still alive and I decided enough was enough, aborted the mission and went to my room to cry.

TFTD is hard.

Good times, good times. Halo 2 is one of my favorite games of all time, I have so many good memories from playing it. Plus, the multiplayer maps are quite simply the best ever. Bungie really outdid themselves with Halo 2. There's no way Halo 3 could have been much of an improvement over Halo 2.

Currently my favorite game is Civilization IV, though my decision is slightly biased by the fact that it is the only game installed on my computer at the moment.



My favorite non-computer game is Monopoly. I was absolutely ruthless at it when I was five, even when I didn't fully understand the rules (Mine were better anyway).

As I am of the opinion that different games, different genres and different consoles are variables that provide an experience incomparable to each other, I decided to create a list of my favorite games depending on what factors are present (i.e. gaming console or whatnot that's used and whether it's multi-player or not).

My favorite PC single-player RPG game is Planescape - Torment.
My favorite PC multi-player RPG game is Diablo II: Lord of Destruction.
My favorite PC single-player FPS game is Half-Life 2.
My favorite PC multi-player FPS game is Unreal Tournament 2004 [Team Fortress 2 and Counter-Strike 1.6 are close, though I almost never play them solo]
My favorite PC single-player RTS game is N/A.
My favorite PC multi-player RTS game is Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne.
My favorite PC single-player TBS game is Heroes 3: Complete.
My favorite PC multi-player TBS game is Heroes 3: Complete.
