I am playing UFO defense now and after four hours of getting all my doods killed I think I'm finally getting the hang of it.

The tricky thing about Terror From The Deep is that there is a certain sequence in which you have to research items, otherwise you end up half-way through the game with rubbish armor and basic ships going up against alien Dreadnoughts which take you out in one shot.

It's just something you have to know, there's no mention of it in the game.

The very first time I played, I screwed up my research so bad (spent too much time researching corpses, and not weapons), the first time I encountered lobstermen, I still had human rifles and grenades. I had heard lobstermen were tough, so with the very first lobsterman I saw, I hurled every grenade I had at him.

10 grenades, 1 torpedo, 7 dead men and 3 turns later, the lobsterman was still alive and I decided enough was enough, aborted the mission and went to my room to cry.

TFTD is hard.

Good times, good times. Halo 2 is one of my favorite games of all time, I have so many good memories from playing it. Plus, the multiplayer maps are quite simply the best ever. Bungie really outdid themselves with Halo 2. There's no way Halo 3 could have been much of an improvement over Halo 2.
