I see, then the beer costs about as much as here, at some places (often clubs for youths) you can even get a beer for 19kr (1.99€). But a drink costs ALOT. I remember when I turned 18 (first time I was "out") and I decided to buy 3 White Russians (one for me and the other two for some friends). I think it costed like 27€... I havn't bought a drink since .

A vintage computer (Centris 610) at a yard sale for $1. I have a nasty habit of buying old technology that I have no use for whatsoever just for fun. Although, the case is in pretty good condition and would look nice with new computer parts...

Books: one about the history of reading, Hofstadter, one about Mimesis in Western Literature, the Koran, a biography of Mohammed, on on American history, British history, tragedies of shakespeare (though I already have his works) and so on.

What? Lord Wiener, you have to pay 3 to 5 euros for a beer? Over here, we complain when it's more than 1 - 1.5 euro...

I was at the army museum today, but since museums are free here all it costed was a cup of coffee. They have a nice exhibit about spies/military intelligence gathering throughout the times, from the ancient Egypt to the future. Very interesting. The S-tank was pretty neat, too.
