Boredom and Apathy in Massachusetts

Ok, well, its a Wednesday night at a (rather small) college. I'm done with all my work, and I have nothing to do... but all of my friends are swamped and, therefore, unavailable.

So, here's what the thread is for: what are some good ways of diverting yourself when you don't have many (or any) friends around? Just imagine... you're sitting in a room, bored, no one to hang out with... what do you do?

Oh, and don't say go watch some porn, because, well, if I couldn't have thought of that before, then I probably don't deserve to be on the internet. Just saying.

I live that reality every day. Except without the lack of work. I have a report due next Tuesday and have a few Chemistry papers that need turning in.

To answer the question . . I would probably start practicing a few of many training forms or just start talking out loud to myself.

And I forgot to say this . . Holy shit, it's colonel_bob!

Just, you know, I leave and come back at various intervals. Or, if you want to get technical, Texas.

'Sup Ihaterednecks. :cya:

But yeah, one of my friends just called and said he was done with his crap, so, I think we'll be going with the "make yourself dumber option from Speer's list.

But, just cause I found something to do doesn't mean you should stop posting, it would still be useful to see what everyone does when they're bored. I guess I can add one to the list: get f**ked up with my friends. (Normally I don't like censoring myself, but I'm really not sure about the FF rules, I just got back.)

On a related note, if I make less (or more) sense in about 5 hours, you guys will know why.

Glad you took one of my options...
You can say it if you want, I personally wouldn't because of the 'kids' around here.

Yeah... I've never understood that reason for censorship. Almost everyone can figure out what "f**k" is referring to, and if you haven't learned that word yet, you will eventually. What's the big deal? I certainly don't see one.

Sorry, for the off-topicness, but yeah. Ranting about censorship can also be on my list.
