Hey people, I need you guys to tell how do we say these words in british english, so if anyone knows, please tell:

-druggist
-to rent
-garbage can
-quotation marks
-elevator
-truck
-laid off
-eraser
-candy store


Yeah I know, it makes no sense. But I really need to know. Not extremelly urgent, but the faster the better.
How many ships can you count here?

Garbage is rubbish, elevator is lift, and I think truck is lory.

I assume he means Pharmacist.

The only other differences in that list between real English and whatever Americans speak these days are the following:
  • Garbage can = Rubbish bin
  • Truck = Lorry
  • Candy store = Sweet shop
The rest are the same.
