Looks like he'll be back soon, hopefully he doesn't rush things, though.

Get well old chap.

PC Chipmunk October 17th, 2007 08:31 AM

Oh dear. Get well soon Gav.

First of all, I didn't have a clue about this thread until someone told me about it over MSN. To start with, I am fine, although, the other day I was not. I currently have a long list of injuries, some more severe than others (from fractures to general bruising I guess). To start with, I'd like to thank each and every one of you for replying with your wishes - I didn't see them coming to be honest.

He was showing off his 'awesome' driving skills in front of a group of girls. It was me that got all of the attention however, just not the right kind. He was arrested for dangerous driving and charged with it and driving without due care and attention.

Fucking hell. I hope he recovers soon, and he should sue the driver. People like that need to be brutally castrated.

I'll see to it that I do when I'm fully recovered. I won't be dropping this without a fight.

Not that same person (he has more sense than that).

See, I knew all along that you were really a cuddly teddy-bear.

Eek, this explains why he's been silent for the past few days. It's not often that something can leave me lost for suitable words, but this is certainly one of them.

Good luck Gav, and don't you dare not bug me when you get back. :p

GAV!

I just read' your message, so...

Sheep says (19:08):
I didn't miss you, but neither did the driver it would seem

Gav // *unbreakable love* says (19:09):
That little joke would've worked if I was actually hit by a car.

Sheep says (19:09):
I didn't miss you enough to pay attention to the thread.

And, how cool is it to be able to say that you died for 16 seconds?! Okay, not cool in some sense, but mega-awesome cool in others!

That is exactly what I said. I'll be talking to the police in a few days when I phone them to tell them I am well enough to speak to them. Until then, I should just rest and get better quicker.

Again, thanks for the wishes guys. It means a lot. If I didn't quote you, I apologise.

Great to hear you're getting back on track, Gav. Take it easy though, the first few days after the hospital are always tough.

Tommy MK1 October 17th, 2007 12:05 PM

Yes, you would know, wouldn't you Chaos... ;)

MrFancypants October 17th, 2007 12:11 PM

This list of injuries sounds scary, I hope you'll have a speedy recovery, Mr.Gav!

Sovereign002 October 17th, 2007 12:21 PM

Glad to see you're still alive Gavin. You had us worried for a while. Seriously worried.

Crimson Butterfly October 19th, 2007 01:43 AM

I know we haven't exactly seen eye-to-eye in the past, but this has been kinda hard to read and take in. You don't get stuff like this happening all the time, and maybe that's a good thing. Anyway, hope you get well soon, man.

How in hell did I miss this thread? Get well soon Gav. At least you seem to have got through the worst part.
