Since you want to go somewhere different Finland would be an excellent choice, chances are pretty big nobody you know has travelled here. :p Unfortunately this is a rather expensive country, so you will get a nasty surprise if planning with Central European price levels. The language is also pretty much useless outside our borders (with an exception for Estonia, where you have some chances to get along even better than with English), so you might as well don't bother since most people (excluding some of the elderly) understand more English than you can reasonably hope to quickly learn Finnish (the language is quite easy and spoken almost the same as it is written, but very different from Indo-European languages, so e.g. German ought to be less of a challenge). If you actually are interested to travel to this sunny spot (not literally, Finland is the sixth largest country in Europe and not particularly sunny, especially in the winter) between Scandinavia and Russia, I'll be glad to help. |

I sooooooo wish I could some how learn Ice Landic :( but that would be very hard to come by. Anyways I personally suggest German. Thats what I went with, and he we both come from the same State :). I admitt im biased because I love Germany, Germans, German Cars, German Military, German Flecktarn(:p), German Anything. Besides isnt it the EU's official language?(or one of them I think). And its becoming very popular in Egypt. And if something i spopular its Egypt it will be more widely used(that is, in the case of the rest of the middle east) |
Also, German's damn easy to learn if you know any Old English. |

j/k. It was beautiful, although i think norway or finland would be more beautiful, but the weather was dreadful, and the german coastguard kept on bullying us...So, not the best holidays i've had. :p |

Got to mention Finland is a very beautiful and safe place to travel in, just don't mind that Dutchman who was stabbed to death in June. I guess I better shut up now, never been that good at the stuff where you are supposed to deceive people, i.e. advertising... |
Finland sounds nice guys!! I am pretty sure I want to make a stop in at least one of the countries that I am decedent of; Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, and Poland (no jokes please lol), or at least the ones I am sure of |

You probably have two options french or german due to their importance And keep your distance from czech, trust me on that |
French was important like 100 years ago, now it's english and spanish. ;) |
Im starting to learn japanese, but only because I plan on living there for a year or 2 when I'm Older, But here in Canada french is probably the second most common language next to english. Depends how your gonna use it guess. |

What's important is that you have a proper motivation to learn, then even a difficult language will be easy to learn. For example, it helps a lot if you like the sound of the language. Listen to songs, watch movies and read literature in the language you are interested in. |

Well, seeing as you already know spanish, Italian would be an easy learn, but you don't really like spanish to start with. If it were me, I'd want to learn German or Russian. |
