School time again. For all the younger residents of FF, it's that time of year (at least for me). It's my first day of my last year (in about 30 minutes)! Yay, Class of 2008! As a great start for my first night, I've pulled an all-nighter already, to attempt to complete my summer work, which I failed miserably at. Looking forward to my day, I see: 01 - AP European History 02 - AP Statistics 03 - AP English 12 04 - Honors College Algebra 05 - Sociology 06 - Computer Tech 07 - Debate 08 - French Rough start, eh. (American students will know what I'm talking about for AP!) To all the FF members who are students, when does school start there for you, and what classes are you taking? |
I feel your pain. =p I completed my last year at school a while ago, and boy that was hell. However, the school term in Australia started roughly 5 weeks ago, and this is the 3rd quarter of the school year for us. The subjects I took;
And before that we also had to do a trial examination. Crazy shiz. Best of luck miss, enjoy your final year before the big wide world! |
I finished school a few months back, should get my final grades in a few days, although I know I've already got an A in one subject since the points I got from the units before the last exam guaranteed it. |
I have 3 more weeks to i have to go back to hell! |

This is my last week. I have register today, for reasons unknown, but I have to read some shitty, boring book called "The Founding Brothers." Then I have to write a 10 page essay on it. Awesome. I'm like, halfway done with it. My classes aren't that restricting, but I should have taken biology instead of chemistry: 1. Homeroom. 2. Art 1 3. American History Honours. 4. Chemistry Honors. 5. English 2 6. Geometry 7. And Psychology. Whoopty-Damn-Doo. |
I'll be going back to college in January, taking the first semester off. |
how many weeks to you Americans get off for summer we in te UK get 6 weeks. |
For the first time in my life school starting will mean less work for me. I work in a refugee camp with a lot of children, and they won't be able to bug me in the mornings anymore beginning Sept 1st :) |
I don't go back to University until the first week of September, and then, the process begins anew. I really can't wait, I hate being at home, there's something about living 400km away from your family that is really.... liberating. The only thorn in my side right now is picking the last of my classes, which I should have done in April, but don't really care so much about. I'm more looking forward to my winter semester, with a Colonial American History class, it's sure to be chalk-full of reading and a few annoying essays, but oh well. |
<<<< finsih from university & don't hav thing to do T_T |
This is my last year attending my high school. Im not very excited to leave it but it doesnt matter. I still have 2 weeks of vacation left, then Im back to school. Best luck to those that are graduating and still attending school. |
