Yeah I was around during the hippie years. But I did grow up more in the eighties than the seventies.

Wouldn't like to live in 1970's Britain (Well most parts anyway) I wish I lived in 1970's... Especialy London!

Everyone on the internet is a 16 year old bisexual catholic schoolgirl with no waist, enormous breasts, faux insecurity, 3 PhDs in everything, an 11" penis, and is rich and successful beyond my wildest dreams.

So you wouldn't have wanted to live in Britain in the 1970s but you would have wanted to live in Britain in the 1970s?

As for this thread, sorry, it's all about the 80s!

I remember the 70s well i was only a child of course but most of it is still vivid to me. Wearing stay pressed trousers and spray on jungle book t shirts!!

Had a red Raleigh Chopper, that was cool, went to the cinema to watch all the Star Wars films and got frog marched out by my mum watching Jaws!!

I loved being a kid in the 70's and would do it again any day, halfpenny sweets and pound notes. You had a few and you felt rich.

Born in 1976, it was Soviet era back than , first time saw a Personal Computer in my uncle's institute (glorious moment) !!! Than came along 80s - time of Viktor Tzoi (korean-russian rock musician) & his band "Kino" (Cinema), first time heard of Ozzy Osbourne, Europa - the glorious days, i tell ya !!! First time saw how dudes of my age smoke cigarette/pot/what not ! Then 90s - came with my parents & my lil' sister to Israel, 5 days/possibly week b4 Gulf War !!! Still remember the times of 70s & 80s !!! Pocket full of halfpennies ? U could possibly do anything with those in entire day !!! Still glorious times !

Whe the Gulf war was on i was a recruit in the Royal Armnoured Corps in Bovington, Dorest. I had left school about 2 weeks and was shtting myself.

Funny to think we didnt have email and internet as we know it now.
The first computer i saw was a ZX81 my dad bought 2nd hand from his friends daughter who was a teacher and thought it was posh.
