American Defense League
 

People of the United States of America, for years we have been chastized, dehumanized, and overall, hated. We have to stand up for ourselves or those who wish us their slaves will gain control of our homeland. Today, I announce with great pride, the establishment of a group known as the American Defense League. All who wish to support my noble cause simply reply with your inquiry. The ADL will exist to protect America's integrity wherever it is endagered (on the internet at least). I post this in the Pub section because I am serious about the matter.

Being a patriot is good, but I think there's a border between that, and fanatic nationalism.

Everybody is entitled to his or her own opinion. Nobody is going to take over America. Sure, people don't like it. I don't, and I live here. You're just being paranoid and nationalistic.

If the USA wants to be more popular in the eyes of the world community, it needs to take more multi-lateral & realistic approach in foreign policy and take deeper interest on international treaties (like Kyoto Treaty for example). Generally speaking, regular anti-American person in western country doesn't want to take your freedoms away nor threaten your way of life and this has never been the case. Healthy self-criticism of our countries is very important thing to remember for us all.

The only reason "everybody" hates America because of America's actions taken upon the world. Besides not everyone hates America, they just hate the one who is in charge of leading America into that mess.

Have you considered that there actually might be a reason for the mutual dislike of the us?

And believe me, this dislike does not stem from the fact that the us is more or less the number 1 country in the world.

instead of starting an organization to protect our country from others, why not start an organization to resolve the issues which caused everyone to hate us in the first place. THAT would be the smart thing. like, i don't know, re-establish a constitutional government. or, we can realize that war is pointless and in the long run is nothing more than killing our own kind over land, or oil, or whatever.

if we can overcome our greed and learn to share this planet which we're killing, and which doesn't even belong to us anyway, then we wouldn't have to worry about mindless, mass murdering or the risk of our mother land being encroached upon. which, i never had a problem with foreign people coming to our country. it really never belonged to us in the first place. we just claimed it as our own and started tearing it up, only after we murdered and/or oppressed the original inhabitants. when you think about it, it would probably be a good thing if the US did fall, or at least went through some dramatic governmental changes.

as far as i'm concerned we are the most violent country in the world. we have a higher crime rate than all other countries combined, times 2. we're a problem and we're probably the ones who realize it the least. your little american defense league is completely redundant. you (and everyone) should think about doing the right things instead of worrying about protecting your shit.

not sure what you mean by that, but it's both untrue and insignificant in this case. there's nothing really humorous about how much our country (world) has gone to crap. if anything, theres a severe lack of a sense of reality here.

lolz. I really couldn't care less what people from other countries say about the US, or my president. Its my country, not theirs, I have a vote, they don't. Our biggest problem might be that we care to much about what other people think. :lol:
