American Defense League
 

People of the United States of America, for years we have been chastized, dehumanized, and overall, hated. We have to stand up for ourselves or those who wish us their slaves will gain control of our homeland. Today, I announce with great pride, the establishment of a group known as the American Defense League. All who wish to support my noble cause simply reply with your inquiry. The ADL will exist to protect America's integrity wherever it is endagered (on the internet at least). I post this in the Pub section because I am serious about the matter.

Being a patriot is good, but I think there's a border between that, and fanatic nationalism.

Everybody is entitled to his or her own opinion. Nobody is going to take over America. Sure, people don't like it. I don't, and I live here. You're just being paranoid and nationalistic.

If the USA wants to be more popular in the eyes of the world community, it needs to take more multi-lateral & realistic approach in foreign policy and take deeper interest on international treaties (like Kyoto Treaty for example). Generally speaking, regular anti-American person in western country doesn't want to take your freedoms away nor threaten your way of life and this has never been the case. Healthy self-criticism of our countries is very important thing to remember for us all.

The only reason "everybody" hates America because of America's actions taken upon the world. Besides not everyone hates America, they just hate the one who is in charge of leading America into that mess.

Stop thinking that America is being wronged because other disagree with its policy. Try seeing from their point of view.

Have you considered that there actually might be a reason for the mutual dislike of the us?

And believe me, this dislike does not stem from the fact that the us is more or less the number 1 country in the world.
