What matters for you the most in job?

For my current job, I chose it because the hours were right, the location was close, and the pay was enough.

I would choose different things for my career though.

There's a distinction between "job" and "career", and both have distinct expectations and requirements.

The only thing that keeps me coming back to work every day is the people that I work with. I can do without the customers, (I work retail), the long hours and the relatively low wage, but I love the people that I work with and it feels like I'm actually going somewhere in the company.
