Default Playlist help

Hey guys..

I need some help.

I'm making a provisional/prototype play list for a dance social we're having at my school. Now, right now I am not worried about order or timing or effects/mixing.

Personally my music genre of choice is soft rock../..slow songs. I need dance songs..

I've right now got a mix of slow dance songs and pop songs from the current time. So far it's about an hour and ten minutes.. but this dance is gonna be anywhere between 3 to 3.5 hours which means I need 4-4.5 hours of music.

What I need is.. some suggestions (with authors included) of what to add.. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Well a few good slow song are
You've lost that lovin feeling - The Rightous Brothers
Desperado - The Eagles
This Diamond Ring - Gary Lewis and The Playboys.

Beware though that they are old songs from the 60s and 70s. From my experience, teens dont like that stuff.

Trust me, Fritz. Anyone who's ever seen Top Gun (a good amount of people, actually) will love "You've Lost That Loving Feeling".

If you want techno/dance, I'm not familiar with many artists, but I can recommend a couple songs. "Every Time We Touch" by Cascada and "Sandstorm" by Darude. Both will start a rave.

Beware of flying glowsticks. They hurt when they hit you in the eye.

Nobody is going to stay 3.5 hours at a dance. Let it repeat 3 times. That way those who missed the first few can get to hear them again if they stay llong enough.

I would not suggest this at all. It' s just wrong and unmusical...

Nobody' s going to really care for the 30 minutes so I suggest you start with something easy, slow, nothing too complicate...

Anyway, here' s a list of some nice songs that could be used... They are all (except for "With or without you" and "Wonderwall", which are two musts) made between 2005 and 2007, maybe a few in 2003/2004...
