So I voted that I don't care much...

I freaking love essays. They are my favorite. :)

I also enjoy math homework, the numbers never bore me. I am especially a fan of matrix maths.

I absolutely LOVE HOMEWORK!!!! Seriously, if there was no homework for me... the world would be turned upside down.

If it actually applied what you are learning in school, fine, but usually it is busy work…whoa déjà vu…haven’t we already a thread on this somewhere?

You hit the nail on the head. I learn pretty well from schoolwork myself. Yet, I dont want HW.

Yes, I know the benifits, but it really hinders even what I call a 'social life'.

Re: homework

I hate the stuff. In chem, I only need a few problems to get ahold of it. My teacher piles on about 50 problems a week. She says she will collect them, but she never does. Then at random she says I have a D becuase I did not turn in one assingment.

Becuase I am spending a good bit of time on busy work, I never do any of my optional homework for pre-calc. Becuase of that, I don't know what I am doing in pre-calc.

Now reading a book in 2 weeks and filling out a study guide for my AP-lit class is fine. I put in about 10 hours, and I get 120 points for a study guide.
