Its not really about who gets the girl at all. Its about pride and standing up for yourself and being a man. its hard to explain if you have not been in that situation.
You know what is funny? That "girl" usually doesn't end up with EITHER of the two after the fight

Only a loser would have to resort to violence to achive their goals. If you are a physically strong guy than of course you will depend of beating people up or threatining them with harm to win. But if you can simpley talk through your problems than it is better for all.

I'd love to see a politican with your attitude. Oh wait, we already have one, Bush.:lol:

BTW, I'm talking about defending yourself in a fight here, NOT starting one. So just we are on the same page.
Kids fight. Fight over girls, property, you name it. Sometimes you just have to throw down, walking away is not an option.

They are 15/16 whatever thats pretty close to a legal adult. You could use that excuse for if they got high maybe or if they stole but for killing someone, I say punish them fully and give no quarter.

i read the whole article. pretty interesting but, look at what i highlighted in the quote. i am a first-generation immigrant. but because mexican people tend to be poorer, they cause more crime.

its like saying a mexican that just came here makes $20,000, according to the study he is less likely to cause crime than a third-generation immigrant that makes $20,000.
the point im making is that the majority of mexicans who came here recently are poorer, the kids tend to cause more crime and be in gangs. while a much smaller percentage of third-generation immigrants are in this economic sector.
