Oooooo 1100 $ or 2000$ big deal that is chump change. Its nothing compared to peoples rights being taken away. You looking to monopolise on peoples right to bear arms is just wrong. Saleing guns to make a profit is not what the majority thinks if you realy even own a gun. Most people own one for the sport and the joy of shooting and hunting. No real gun owner would look forward to getting rid of his/her guns.

Im not, but if it happened it wouldnt hurt me. For one, those kinds of gun bans NEVER last, especially in the south, theres only so much the Fed can do. Two, its profit for buying MORE guns, If i buy a bunch of Norin. Ak's for 200 a pop and sell them as preban for 1100 a piece, that means i got plenty of profit left over to outwait the AWB and get more stuff when its over, just like last time. Some stuff i would never sell, such as my G3 but an AK? yeah, id turn 250% profit on a few of those without batting an eye.

Not really. A Mosin-Nagant is only about $100 to $200, and a Lee-Enfield No.4 is only $200.

I can get a Mosin for less then a hundred, but that is not what I'm saying is expensive. I'm talking about Garands, BARs, Thompsons, or an m1919. Now that is when it starts getting expensive.

Garands are iffy. BARs will run you up. Thompsons in full auto will cost over $10,000. M1919s...

lot of cash for a bullet hose. Once i start hitting the 1K range, i expect said firearm to be either American,German,New or some combination of the 3

A new German-American gun?:D

But yeah, that is what I meant by expensive. A dream, more then likely, but still something I woudl love. I REALLY want to get a Mosin-Nagant, as I would be able to afford it right now. But the parents won't let me:( So I have to wait till I get out of the house. And I presume most colleges of some kind of laws against weapons on campus, so I might have to live off campus to own a gun, which means I would have to buy and fuel a car, which means I probaly wouldn't have enough money for said firearms anyways.

So.. it might be awhile. I will probaly be able to afford a Mosin after I get out of the house no matter how you slice it though. The things are cheaper then a Chinese power tool.

German American Gun?
The Hk416. An M16 style rifle i wouldnt mind hawking a few AK's to own
Already got an American produced G-3 Clone.
now if i could just get my hands on a G41 the world would be a better place....for me.

Isn't H&K a German company that happens to sell things in the U.S. as well? Not an American compnay, exactly.

And I personally would have an orgasm over getting a G41. And I would have multiple orgasms over a MG42.

eh kinda. Not to long ago it was owned by Brits, but as many of their weapons are actually produced here in America you get the unique combination of German technical engineering melding with American Quality machining and *BOOM*, magic happens.

If you want a quality long range AR, look at the Armalite AR-10T. Chambered in 7.62 NATO, it's a really accurate rifle. I've shot one before, but I don't own one (yet).

DPMS Panther Arms makes a buch of ARs in calibers aside from 5.56/.223. .204 Ruger, .260 Remington, .300 SAUM. Great for long range shooting.

Im kinda spaced out for 7.62N rifles at the moment. Got my Springer M14 and my G3. my AR15 is rather long in the tooth however and as my nephew is approaching training age with a rifle it will probably go over to him. Cant imagine life without at least ONE AR15 though.

If you want a really fun rifle try out the Vulcan Armament V-73. I picked one up a couple of years ago at a gunshow for about $780, it's basicly an American made copy of the Israeli Galil ARM. It's a beast of a rifle, weighing in at more than 8 1/2 Lbs, and the MSRP on one of these babies is about $1700. But lemme tell ya', it's a bitch to hump but it's a great shoot. Mine's even got the bottle-opener!

Galil? no thanks. 8lbs of rifle doesnt bother me as much as the poor sights and limited use of it. Would be fun to bring to the range and show off though. Good price though. For that much i would be hard pressed not to buy it for prosperities sake

Oh man, no kidding. Once Black Rifle Disease hits, it just never leaves. Let's see... M-16A1, M-4 with an Aimpoint CompM3, foregrip and SureFire, and a long range M-16A4 with a 20x Leo scope and a bipod. Of course, the military designations just used for simplicity's sake.

You feel dirty to, i was a Battle rifle snob having grown up shooting my old mans M14 (M1A actually) and vowed to never play with some plastic poodle popper. Well i started shooting them in the military, began to really like the ergonomics fit and operation and now i own a Colt HBAR with free floating barrel 18" barrel, Tapco high weld fixed stock and 4 rail hand guard with a surefire handgrip and an old ass Aimpoint COMP ML

I'm loving the CAR. I've never much liked any of the plastic guns but once you put the scope and fore grip and collapsible stock it all just starts to look badass.

Anyone happen to have a Tokarev TT-33 pistol? I've taken a liking to the little gun after reading about it, using it in Red Orchestra and firing my airsoft copy.

Nice ACOG man, I'd love to have one of those things. But every time I get $1,000 I end up spending it on something that goes boom, not something that makes those booms more accurate.

Hook up with a Armorer or Range master. When they get new kit, alot of the time they chuck the old stuff in labled boxes and eventually de-inventory them. If they are in good condition they may be repaired or what have you and recirculated. if they are non standard, they typically just get rid of them. I picked that one up from one such 'trashout' a year ago date of manufacture according to the label was 94
