I have a thing for bolt action rifles. Particularly the lee enfield and K98.
Although when I join up next year Ill have to get used to the 120mm CHARM gun and not the L98A1 and LSW that ive been using for the past 3 years.

Ever see "The Lost Battalion"? Pretty much all bolt-action and bayonet combat in that one. Lots of Mausers and Lee Enfield P-14s.

Americans used the P-17, which was nearly the same as the P-14 save for it being chambered in 30-06

I actually own two rifles given to me by my grandfather. One is a single shot bolt action 22 LR Winchester. It is really old. Another is a single shot .410 Mossburg shotgun. Each takes one bullet at a time. I rarely shoot them. Sometimes my daddy and I go target practicing, but as I got older...I haven't gone as much.

My daddy has a bunch of guns. We have two gun safes at home. They are pretty big made by a company called Liberty. My daddy has several handguns including a Browning 9mm Hi-power, a bunch of Colt 45 APC types including an Officer Model. He also has a Colt .357 King Cobra and Ruger .44 mag. Shotguns like Remington Automatics and Mossburg and a couple of Colt Sporters H-Bar and a Colt AR-15.

He also reloads his own bullets and has a work bench to do that stuff in the garage.

I grew up all my life around guns. I could have more guns if I wanted but I'm not really that interested in them.

Just bought an SKS.

All in all is going to be about $410. Guy is shipping it and I'll have it in about 17 days. All matching, 1953 Tula Arsenal. I paid an extra 60 bucks (rifle was 330) because I liked the way it looked and didn't feel like waiting around for the auction to end. I offered 260, but he didn't take, so I just bought it for $330. Shipping, Transfer, and Dros is another $80. Oh well. This rifle will go well along with my M1 Garand, Mosin-Nagant 1891/30, Mosin-Nagant M44 Carbine, Mauser 98k, and my .45.

SKS's always remind me of the Chinese Type 56.

i just have a Daisy air rifle, i forget the caliber (.177 maybe), i got it for christmas, and i have a compound bow that one of my dads friends gave me
i dont know anything about bows (or guns), but im a fairly good shot with it, it does a ton more damage than the rifle, the arrow will go straight through an 50gal. steel drum at about 30 feet away
