You, living in a state that surely is less anal-retentive about firearms, should find something cheaper.

I've seen Nagants go for as cheap as 60$ with nothing extra, or 90$ with bayonet, sling, and ammo pouches. Not sure what sort of legal framework I would have to go thorugh to get a Nagant. I suppose I'll have to look into Michigan laws specifically.

I started with my Mauser. One the gun was pretty cheap, two, surplus ammo is extremely inexpensive, and three it's a badass gun :)

Is it 8mm? If so where do you get your ammo? :lookaround: It costs me $20 for 24 Remington 8mm Mauser rounds...:uhm:

If you are going to get a USP, at least get it in .45. 9mm is just a waste.

WW2 surplus is easy to get. all you need is the cash and a drivers license

I want it in 9mm. Dept. won't authorize anything bigger than 40SW. Besides 9mm holds more rounds and with a compensator it should feel like im shooting a pellet gun. Or at least a .22. Means easier aiming / more accuracy. ;)

What's your Dept's stance on .357 Sig? That .40SW necked down for a .357.

I've got a P229 in .357 Sig for CCW, and it's like a f*cking cannon!

Im not sure i'll ask. But I prefer .9mm for many reasons. If it's smaller than 40SW or equal size i'd think it would be fine.

Question: If Halo really happened and the Covenent landed on earth, what are the weapons you would use against them? Make them practical, and realistic. And really think about the enemy's you would encounter... weaknesses ect.

You put a lot of stock in the compensator my friend. The 9mm is already a gentle round especially for as heavy a pistol as the USP. what WILL happen with the comp though is the guns inherent balance will be removed, its sight alignment displaced, parts will wear down faster, ammo usage will become more stringent in terms of pressure, over flash during night shooting and no holsters will fit your piece.

Theres a reason only sport shooters use them. they arent practical for duty use
