Re: Airsofting Talk i have a Beretta M92FS Tactical Elite though dont use it much |
Re: Airsofting Talk Gas, Spring, what? Who makes it? I like my Tokyo Marui "chrome" or "silver" version. |

Re: Airsofting Talk I have the Star SA80, the TM P90TR and a Glock18 AEP. All nice guns, especially the SA80, I have quite a few people disliking the sniper rifile accuracy with the AEG firepower. At our site every time you get a sniper without backup everybody just does a mass rush (all the other snipers use bolt action weapons) which dosen't work to well when at the flip of the selector I become a machine gunner :naughty: |
Re: Airsofting Talk Nice. Whish is why I prefer sneaking up on people to rushing them. Plus, the look of surprise can be quite funneh. |
Re: Airsofting Talk Hmm... I wonder what that cold steel feeling against my temple is? |
Re: Airsofting Talk Is it a pipe? See, what is good is to have some really dedicated people on a common battleground. Get them to tunneling:naughty: |
Re: Airsofting Talk I've got a question, which would look better on a m15a4 full size (m16) this" http://cgi.ebay.com/ACTION-1x30mm-HO...QQcmdZViewItem http://www.ehobbyasia.com/ebayphoto/...ion_acog_1.jpg http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1 http://www.ehobbyasia.com/ebayphoto/...luecross_1.jpg ^ blue cross scope I don't like the inaccuracy of the ironsights...:) |
Re: Airsofting Talk Haha, eHobby Asia. BEST SITE EVER if i may add. It really depends what kinda thing youre trying to do with your rifle. If youre making it like a SOPMOD M4, you d take the first one, but since you have a CA M15, they both look pretty much the same to me on it. But i DO like the blue reticle, very sexy. If you cant decide, flip a coin, but for me as of right now...i d take the second one with the blue reticle. |
Re: Airsofting Talk going for authenticy? go for the fAkCOG... would the blue cross be all that effective during daylight? |

http://img.redwolfairsoft.com/upload...CC-SCOPE-L.jpg Actually it's not a real steel 551, but a functional reproduction made for AEGs. I'm looking at getting a CA M15A4 Carbine, removing the carry handle and sliding this onto the rail. P.S.: The irons aren't so bad if you know how to use and adjust them properly. For Airsoft as well as short to medium range action, just keep them zeroed and on target. Breath, sight-alignment, trigger squeeze. |

Re: Airsofting Talk cyma=poor quality (sucks) western arms=rules |
Re: Airsofting Talk I have a silver plastic [my early years] Desert Eagle .50 AE which is a spring action. I also have another Desert Eagle .50 AE, but this one is mostly metal and it's finish is matte black, and it is gas-operated. I'm planning on buying a 1911 gas-operated pistol and also an HK USP Expert .45 replica. |
Re: Airsofting Talk I also have Desert Eagle .50AE. Mines the Tokyo Marui one, Hardkick version. Hardest blowback/recoil of any stock airsoft pistol out there ;). Also hopefully soon, i am planning to buy a Colt 1911 too, National Match and a silencer to go with it. And then a red dot sight on top of my Desert Eagle =D |

Re: Airsofting Talk Cost around $150-$170. Not totally sure. It is a BEAST! |
Re: Airsofting Talk I remember going to gunshop just to hold the real Desert Eagle .50AE and it was a lot heavier than the metal gas-operated one I have, but I guess the airsoft manfacturers [mine is Redwolf] were going for visual authenticity, not weight as well. |
Re: Airsofting Talk Most airsofters wouldnt put up with the weight real gear actually weighs, thats why you see so many tricked out M4-gerys with rail equipment that doesnt fit the scenario. |
Re: Airsofting Talk Indeed. I would not put much on an M4 for Airsoft, perhaps a flashlight in a dark area(though why do that when you can pull a pistol and a maglite?), a pistol grip to assist is CQB, maybe a reddot sight or laser sight, nothing too fancy. No need for anything really shiny. |

Re: Airsofting Talk I got an Automatic Kitty Kat, Semi and Auto modes, battery powered, 60 rounds. It works pretty good. |
Re: Airsofting Talk Kitty Kat? What is that? |
Re: Airsofting Talk Quote:
hehe that "Aimpoint" wana-B is crap. it is a red dot that is it.... and when i was in the army iron sights were the only tride and true thng. u cant have a aimpoint or laser/red dot sight with out zeroing your weapon to begin with by straping on a sight is crazy if u dont have it zeroed. |
Re: Airsofting Talk For an Airsoft weapon, why do through all that trouble, when you can just spray and pray? |
Re: Airsofting Talk when you 'were' in the Army? your age says your 19, what did you get kicked out for? |
Re: Airsofting Talk Yeah, even if one went in at 17, basic takes 2 months, and then you have specific training. Plus, isn't the signup minimum 4 years? |
Re: Airsofting Talk Quote:
|
Re: Airsofting Talk See, what you need are multiple weapons. One that you actually aim with, and is fairly accurate, and another that is just a pellet hose. |

Spoiler: Spoiler: |
Re: Airsofting Talk You got a real strike face plate in that? on second glance the groin protector looks flat so im imagining not |
Re: Airsofting Talk Quote:
but yeah, i do have the plate for the groin protector. http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/8083/zplatenb2.jpg |
Re: Airsofting Talk Shabaam. Heavy too, no joke. least i dont have to wear the soft armor inserts. BTW, without the plates or soft armor inserts, the IBA kevvie will only stop JHP 9mm, ball or +P stuff will cut on through. This setup is about 20 pounds, without gear. my LBV with full complement of 10 mags and misc gear will add about another 10lbs, and then theres the buttpack, assault bag and whatever commo stuff i need and water. I try to keep it to 40lbs if im walking, 60 lbs if we're motorized. |
Re: Airsofting Talk Quote:
|
Re: Airsofting Talk See, that is a weight I try to keep below on hikes. I don't think that wearing all that stuff will be much help in Airsoft, just have what you need, and some stuff that will make it easier for you. (Binoculars, duct tape, stuff like that) |
Re: Airsofting Talk I just play springers with my friends for the moment, but I would love to get an AEG and start doing more things. |
Re: Airsofting Talk Aegs are much fun, especially when playing against springs. Always makes me think of the Wild West, and of the wagon box fight, I think it was by Fort Kearney, IIRC. |
Re: Airsofting Talk August 2, 1867 near Fort Phil Kearney. 31 Soldiers of the US Army against 1000-2000 Sioux warriors. |
Re: Airsofting Talk Close to 1,300 Souix, IIRC. They did not all die, but the Henry/Winchester certainly showed it's worth. |
Re: Airsofting Talk Those Springfield .50cal Trapdoor Rifles sure helped alot too. If they had been equipped with older muzzle-loaders, they surely would have been overrun after the first wave. |
Re: Airsofting Talk Yes, if one quote would have to be taken from that battle, it would be(made up) "breechloaders FTW!" |
Re: Airsofting Talk Henry Repeating Rifle FTW! |
Re: Airsofting Talk Give it up for my Ak-47, M-16 Vietnam, and Mp5-A4. They're all full metal and all up graded to shoot 445 fps. They basically make you bleed but they're sweet. They're Tokyo Mauri also. |
Re: Airsofting Talk Sweet Jebus on a bicycle. What kind of range(accurate) do they have? |
Re: Airsofting Talk Quote:
Sorry for being a perfectionist. |
Re: Airsofting Talk Quote:

Re: Airsofting Talk Actually I think he means the Tokyo Marui M16VN, which are modeled after the original M16 with some of the original features: three pronged flash hider, lack of a forward assist, etc. You know, pre-A1. It even comes with a short-stick style 190 rd mag. |
