We have all the airsofts here as you can get in Hong Kong or whatever.
The canadian retailers are supplied by the big airsoft retailer in hong kong like Redwolf or Dentrinity and they can do custom orders for us.
And most of these retailers are like close with the customers because the laws here can be changed any minute now and all the 'real' airsofters discourage people under 16 but mostly 18 from buying and playing until they are older enough to, to be more responsible regarding the sport. The official Airsoft Canada forums have a little group with some of the retailers and have started a project to be more lenient(sp?) in Canada.
And they all spend a lot to keep alive the sport there, so some semi clear guns or cheap guns made in china are basically paperweights to them and when asked about how to upgrade one....they ll probably respond with...bash it with a rock till it works. Which is a good response to me.
All in all im 16 still waiting a little and saving up to play with these guys. Theyre pretty hardcore. A lot of them are ex-army so, i ll learn something hopefully. |
Actually, the laws are crazy here. You cannot import any airsoft guns, as they are confiscated by customs upon discovery. What does this mean? We have to pay
double what they are actually worth from Canadian retailers, it isn't fair at all. But we have a new gov't now so things may change for the better.
I'm thinking about getting a FAMAS myself, but it is a french design so I don't know, but it's the best price for a AEG from what I have seen, and it's a bullpup so more range and power on it. M4 would probably be my second choice since it is so customizable. I'd get an AK 47 but I don't want to play as a terrorist.

Probably get the M92 as a sidearm since it's the most economical.
