i welcomed the serbs for nice warm cup of tea. then we went to washington DC. then one yelled "hey get that man, the one that looks like a monkey". after he got him he told him his rights and that he would be tried for war crimes.

And extra fat might help stop bullets.

I think that it would be the other way round. The invading army would pay special attention to wiping out anyone with a gun.

Problem with the insurgency in Iraq is that the whole area is basically flat featureless terrain that you cant hide in, broken up by easily isolated urban areas that you cant flee from. Look at how Fallujah went down.

America has a whoooooooole lot of variable terrain from which local lads can bring pain and misery from. multiple roads in and out of any populated area (patroling all of them? not gonna happen)

large population of recently released military personnel who retain their skills and abilities. (something like 1 million people under the age of 45 who have been in the military though are no longer active duty)

I pity any poor SOB who gets peacekeeping duty in this country.

Not to mention all the hunters and recreational shooters. There's at least a couple million amateur snipers right there.
