i hope you guys like it, remember its an el cheap-0 recipe so dont expect it to compare to alfredo from italy. but its good enough to compare to the slop from the olive garden restaurant chain.
the secret is the parmesan cheese, dont be squeamish, add the whole tub and try out the sauce while its cooking add more cheese for stronger sauces , if you prefer a less alfredoesque and more sour cream taste just half the cheese

You should cook the pasta last and not let it hang around in water as it will taste a lot better
Agreed, If you leave it in water it will absorb too much water and become too soft and gooey.
It's best if the pasta does not dissolve in your mouth but at the same time does not have too much of a bite
Also I tried experimenting a little with this recipe and found it tasted good with ready shopped Garlic soaked in balsamic vinegar. You can buy jars of this in all good supermarkets and I'm sure Walmart will sell em
Try and use fresh Italian hard cheese instead of the dried grated crap I see in the shops, sure it may be more expensive but it's worth it.
I plan to try adding Scallops or perhaps even cod next time to see if it tastes better but I liked it a lot this time.
