| Hi all! My friends and I were interested in making a star wars fan film. I'm not one to be 'in the know' with this stuff, so I don't know if this is popular in the SW community, but it really doesn't matter either way..... Anyway, I was hoping if some of you on these boards have dond a fan film or other low budget type film like these that you could give me some tips: If you've done a star wars fan film: What material did you use for the lightsaber blade? What editing software did you use? Is Pinnacle Studio 10 with chromakey (greenscreen) good enough? Are there open source software programs that I can use for special effects editing? Any other tips? Thanks, LC |

| yeah TFN will help alot though if you can I seriously suggest getting a filter.... I know they can be expensive but even a cheap one will help blend you and the background alot better so it looks alot better, rather that looking like a home movie -_- also watch some of the films, see what they did right... or worng
