Pimping my Room?

Alright, so we're building our new house and it's going to be finished around April or so. My current room is boring, so I want the new room to be nice and interesting. Currently I was thinking of this setup: a nice rug, a glass coffee table, a nice comfy armchair, a laval lamp, and a plant of osme sort, probably a large one. Also their is going to be my work and computer desk, with my computer on top of it. What layouts or styles do you think would be good or maybe some other setup? Any suggestions are welcome.

I would have the armchair under the slanted wall and a television on the wall facing it, and your computer and work desk on the wall where the door is, so the light doesn't get in your eyes when you're working on it. I suppose your bed could go next to the armchair or something, or next to the TV.

Ultimately it's up to you though, but that's kind of the configuration in my room right now, and I like it.

DAMN. i wish i had posted something on the forums.. i had to rearrange my room and stuff.. damn my room sucks compared to the sounding of yours..

It's not all you make it sound like,really. It's rather small and I needed ideas on how to fill it up. It's not hard to arrange a roomso that it looks cool. All you have to do is use some imagination.

Pimping anything just seems ridiculous.
I think its an attempt to show everyone how much better and orignal "my stuff" is to yours because I've customized my bling bling...

I guess I have no use of that.

'Pimping' was not meant literally, or in the MTV sense(Pimp My Ride, etc.) If you're so picky, then I could change the title to "Decorating My Room?", but I won't, ismply because everyone gets the idea. And wouldn't you agree that n original, interesting room is better than the generic one with socks lying around and chips bags on the floor and everything in a mess? And besides, what's so bad about being original? Lighten up...

Ideas? I'm not sure where I could get thses images turned into posters, though,so I don't know if I'll be able to realise this idea...ANyone know where you can get images turned into posters?
