A new ice age

This is a real possibility... I've been reading several articles that we may undergo a mini ice age in as little as 10 year! humanity survived the last ice age with almost no technology, but are we up to another one? Could we survive in what now is known as the third world, in countries with poor facilities, and not enough room, and extream poverity? how would this effect civilization? culture? technological advances, etc.

the earth turning into an ice age in 10 years is IMpossible. You watch too many movies.

A Mini ice age. not a full blown one, like the one we had about 20,000 years ago. I think we will be generally ok living through a mini ice age, but what about a full blown one?

Ice ages and era's were of above avarage temperatures are both normal and nothing to worry about. We survived in the past and with our technology it should be even easier. Ofcourse it could mean that certain parts of the world would be greatly affected but we wouldn't die out over it.

Well would be good for the world population. The way we are living now, we made the "ice-age".

We're about due for another ice age at this point. I can say with relative certainty that, unless those scientists have watched The Day After Tomorrow a few too many times, ice age conditions won't develop in a span as short as 10 years. However a couple of hundred years and it's a definite possibility.
