Well I haven't seen a thread like this at all.

I was wondering what everyone else is "classed as" out in the social world. E.g Surfie, Goth, Punk, Skater. You get the drift.

I'm "classed as" a metal head bogan.

Caffeine addict. And the worst thing is that it's true. I was forced to go without coffee today since it was my first day at business scholl and I had no idea they did not have a frigging coffee machine!!! Not cool. I was struggling to get a clear thought going.

I would have to consider my self (with agreeness from a lot of my friends) that I am more of the nerdy type, but not one that shows it. So basiclly, I am a nerd, but do not wear pocket protectors and taped my glasses in the middle. :) :p

The question was what others think of ourselves in view of steretypicalism (made that up but it makes sense I guess). It will help people question this if they know them. That's my view anyhow.

Actually a nerd is a mathmatical whizz, nothing to do with computers and that sort of thing. The word you are looking for is Geek :)

Wikipedia says

Geek: A person who is interested in technology, especially computing and new media. Considered derogatory by some. Comparable with the classic definition of hacker. (Late 20th century and early 21st century.)

Nerd: Nerd, as a stereotypical or archetypal designation, refers to somebody who is perceived to be of normal to above-average intelligence and whose interests (often in science and mathematics)

My friends class me as a geek :(

I dont usually get classed as anything, probably cause i'm not that outtspoken or going, not antisocial enough to be classed that, and not smart enough to bee a geek or a nerd so i really dont know. but other than that i generally get:

quiet, generally intelligent, certified lunatic.:)

Satan, terrorist, The Devil, Metal Head, Satan Incarnate. I've been called that, so therefor I am classified as that. I get called terrorist because I say "Jihad" alot, Satan The Devil etc etc because I preach apocayptic Prophecy from the book of Revalation and The Book of Daniel, Talk about Satan, tale about Dante's Inferno etc etc. And judging upon Zenred's post, I am a nerd, I don't really act nerdy, however I have an interest in Science, Calculus, Satanism, and War.

I have little to nothing with metal, pop, rock music. I believe I got a gramophone on my tenth birthday and thereby then all kinds of classical music from my parents. There are however, a few pop, rock groups, bands I fancy, however, “im großen ganzen” I prefer classical music. :)
