Let's name a hurricane!

Ok folks: lets name a few hurricanes A-Z.

Adolf Hitler
Bennedict the 8th
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Fidel Castro
George W. Bush
Henry the Eighth Defunct Bastard
Josef Stalin
Kim Jon Il II
Laura Bush
Osama Bin Laden
Rupert Murdock
Saddam Hussain


Theres my list of people and things: mostly people I hate with the exception of Bennedict the 8th.
No offense, but all these people are a bit dangerous. Any one of them can kill you, so why not name them hurricanes. (I am dead serious, they can kill you if they want you dead: or at least disable you.)

Well, i wouldn't mind it...but then again the name system that is currently in place would be sufficient to last for many years. With all of the names for people, are the names of hurricanes. Picking out dangerous people's names from history would be a much lower amount.

Oh sure, and while were at it let's change the leaning if tower of piaiza name to, Half-way down Tower, and say that einstein created math. How about it?
What I'm saying is,that you can't just change something because It sounds right or you want it to be that way. The public are used to this sytem, and changing all of sudden, it would lose most ofit's recnotion, confuse thousands, and even promte violance in some cases. For a hurricane warning sytem that's pretty dangourous.

I thought it was Benedict the 16th - they call him Benedict XVI, which is 16.

the current pope is benedict the 16th, but there was a benedict the 8th a long time ago, didn't he create a set of rules or something

Hurricane Hitler sounds the best probably because of the alitteration. Its a good idea but it would't work as Username66 has already stated

No, but really, what would be so bad about adding some more names to a list? Are people really that into their hurricane names that they would even care if they were changed?

Hey hurricanes are really bad ive been in about 6 the psycological shock from them is already bad enough. You might open old wounds with those wierd names. Thankfully I got cable and power back one day after Dennis.
