Heh, point well taken. Although it is my and the rest of the staff's job to oversee such issues, I must agree that many (if not most) people are far too sensitive on them. Believe me when I state that it can be quite a mental sacrifice to make and/or enforce certain decisions regarding those aspects of the rules.
i suppose i'm still pissed in a way that whoever was offended by my name didnt have the balls to confront me themselves.instead they had to get a Mod to confront me for them.
to be fair, what did you want the to do about it? it's nothing they can change. it's not like they can just drop you a PM asking you not to say certain things in the future. changing a name can only be done by admins.
bt people do pm eachother ask them not to say certain things.
all i am saying, is that i think i would have respect for this person if they did make the effort themselves to confront me and tell me how they felt, rather then to make themselves anonymous...
it happened to bother someone so much that they had to make the effort to speak to an admin in order for something to be done about it. ironically almost, i had no intentions whatsoever to have any sort of anti-religious sentiment in my name, nor to intentionally piss anyone off.if that were the case, i'm sure i would have came up with something quite worse. it was merely a play on words and nothing more then that. unfortunately, someone took it to heart in the vein of it infact being anti-religious, and allowed it to have a personal effect on them. thats all i'd like to say..

Then it went a little far about youre name. A person has to be very sensitive if he/she get's offended by youre name:lol: . And religious people can get absurdly sensitive; i mean wars get started over such things( ). I dont know if youre a religious person, but i think religions should be banned. Not just on the gf, in the hole wide world. And thats my opinion.
First of all, we have much more than 70,000 members, Secondly, realize that a very significant amount of them are not even active. If they were, we'd need far more staff in each group of mods, SMs and admins. Managing the number of active members as they are is indeed quite a task in itself.
