The Haunted Car
 

So, today I was sitting in my kitchen doing summer homework (I was the only one home) when all of a sudden a car from my garage starts honking. At first I thought it was just my parents coming home with the other car so I went outside to greet them. Nothing was there. I realized it must have been some car on the street, so I went back to my work. 5 minutes later, the horn goes off again and I hear something rustling in the garage. This time the horn was blaring for 4 straight minutes. At this point I was scared shitless. I go in the garage and sure enough the car is honking... and I caught a glimpse of someone, or something, behind the wheel. I ran back into my house and locked all of the doors and grabbed a knife from the kitchen. My hand was shaking terribly as the horn started honking again. Then, my phone rang twice, then went dead. That scared me to death. So I run outside with my dogs and slowly crept into the garage. Everything seemed normal so I began to feel relieved. I walked to the car door, peered inside and all of a sudden the horn starts blaring again at full blast. My dogs started barking and I ran out of there and didn't look back. I was so fuckinging scared it wasn't even funny. The car hasn't honked for half an hour, but I am still freaked out and my parents still aren't home. This isn't a joke...I'm serious.

lol, reminds me of a movie plot.. its a haunted car, and as soon as the little boy gets out to explore, some killers sneak into his house, and kill his dog.. after that they slowly..

It's not haunted, just blame those darn squirrels. :p Anyway, what is there to be scared of? If it really was possessed there are two things that could happen, either the car keeps on honking for as long as you have it, or the spirits decide to kill you, which won't really matter to you for obvious reasons. :)

It ain't haunted. Either someone broke into your garage and is hiding under the seats of your car to freak the shit out of you, or you are lying.

Well, I'm not lying and if someone broke into the car to scar me, they are doing a good job.

Take it from me, self-aware cars are NOT nice. Mine was homicidal for a while, accelerating of its own accord -- usually aiming for something. No, I'm not joking. I think it's dead... for now.

You should've called some other people over so they could be witnesses to it too...Could be something wrong with the car..but if it's not on I don't see how the horn could be going off..

Horns work when the engine's off. Don't they? Mine does. Not on its own though. Usually, it needs someone to press a button. Or kick it really hard. That works.

I looked inside the car (when it finally stopped honking) and the door had not been tampered with and there was nothing inside....
