Re: The Haunted Car What about your car remote key thing I bet someone is using it to beep the horn. |
Re: The Haunted Car No, it wasn't that kind of horn. It was a persistant honking, not the panic alarm on the car. |
Re: The Haunted Car good luck lol sounds like it would scare me sh@tless. |

Re: The Haunted Car It was the swarm. Mystery solved. |
Re: The Haunted Car You can read all these absolutely ridiculous suggestions of faulty electronics, kids fooling you, and suchlike, but we all know the truth. Your car has developed a mind of its own. And it is angry. The next step is for it to begin accelerating uncontrollably while you drive it, as it tries to kill itself, its occupants and everyone around it... or, something like that. Could just be faulty electronics I guess. But I think my explanation is far more likely. |

Re: The Haunted Car Did you check under the hood of the car? It's usually nice and warm there and some animal might have gotten into it and chewed on some wires. Then those wire might contact every now and then and start the honking... |

Re: The Haunted Car Ok, lifted up the hood and didn't find any animals, nests, or lose/chewed wiring. However, I did find a few pieces of grass/hay which might indicate a nest at one time, but it had clearly been abandoned for months, so I don't think that that was the cause. |
