I used to have one of these, a 1993 Capri XR2 turbo. It was rated at 132hp but with mods easily hit 190hp. Came factory stock with Michelin P195/50-ZR15's and was the first FWD car that shocked me by how well it handled. http://www.midcomustang.com/92-93xr2.jpg
The other car is my 1993 Probe SE which handles better than either of my Mustang LX's. After driving my 4cyl LX Mustang convertible the Probe SE feels like a rocketship.
front plates are illegal there? its illegal not to have them in some states here!
FWDs understeer, but so do pony cars like the Mustang, but you cant throw the rear end out on a FWD like you can a Mustang, unless your using the E-brake
The armrest sounds comfy, been looking for one a long time, but never found one.

Normal front plates aren't illegal, actually they are probably mandatory in the Netherlands too, but any other plates than the official ones are. Thus small custom ones are illegal and should bring some heavy fines if he is caught.
I must have the big license plates... It's illegal to have small ones, highly illegal to have none.. I going with a small one up front, let's see how long I can drive without getting pulled over.
Oh, and I got the probe oversteering lots of times without the E-brake.. First the understeer, let off the throttle and the back will go aswell. It's hard to control though. Not recommended. Almost totalled my old Probe SE that way in the wet...
