Re: A day working on the Probe Yep, got an alarm ;) I can't decide on what to do first, exhaust or lowering? :( |
Re: A day working on the Probe Good. I'd vote on the exhaust, that way you can still fit anything you want there, which might be too late after the lowering. :p |
Re: A day working on the Probe No problem there, It'll be a dual flowmaster american thunder in the back, nuff space there ;) It's the front I'm worried about when lowering.. |
Re: A day working on the Probe Ohhh... shiny new parts. Looking rad man, have fun with it, it looks like a nice car (and I can tell from the threads/posts I've seen, you've put a lot of work into it)! |

Re: A day working on the Probe its a transverse engine, alot of American cars have them too. just means the engine is mounted sideways in the engine bay, most front wheel drive cars have it like that. saves a lot of room in smaller cars |
Re: A day working on the Probe yeah almost all FWD cars have traverse engines, the only one i can think of that doesnt is the old SAAB 900's with their reverse engine, god they are a pain in the ass to work on, but a clutch change is like only an hour |
Re: A day working on the Probe FWD.. easier to work on, but less fun in the bends :( |

Re: A day working on the Probe true, passengerside of the engine is tight.. the other side is quite spacious when you remove the air intake.. |
