Yep, got an alarm ;) I can't decide on what to do first, exhaust or lowering? :(

Good. I'd vote on the exhaust, that way you can still fit anything you want there, which might be too late after the lowering. :p

No problem there, It'll be a dual flowmaster american thunder in the back, nuff space there ;) It's the front I'm worried about when lowering..

Ohhh... shiny new parts. Looking rad man, have fun with it, it looks like a nice car (and I can tell from the threads/posts I've seen, you've put a lot of work into it)!

its a transverse engine, alot of American cars have them too. just means the engine is mounted sideways in the engine bay, most front wheel drive cars have it like that. saves a lot of room in smaller cars

yeah almost all FWD cars have traverse engines, the only one i can think of that doesnt is the old SAAB 900's with their reverse engine, god they are a pain in the ass to work on, but a clutch change is like only an hour

i wouldnt say that really, your belts are too close to the side wall and the things on the other side of the motor are hard to get to

true, passengerside of the engine is tight.. the other side is quite spacious when you remove the air intake..
