Default My new motorcycle

Well, I'm not really sure if I should be posting this here or in the automotive section. Motorcycles aren't really "automotive". Please if you have to move this thread, please don't close it because it's not spam, atleaste move it to the appopriete section if you really have to, thanks. Well to get to what I was going to talk about. We've been looking for a while to get me a new motorcycle. My dad and I love to go trail riding up in the mountains and his is a dual sport and mine is a dirt bike (Honda XR200). Well, we have always wanted to not have to drive so far to reach the mountains to where we were going to ride and we can't take my bike on the road so that was never an option. Now that I'm bigger, we have decided to start looking for a dual sport for me. We found a 1999 Honda XR650L on Ebay that was about two hours away from where we live and the auction ended today and we got it!!! I'm very excited about it. It's also nice because we don't have to ship it, we can just ride it home. I know the first thing you're thinking. Going from a 200 to a 650 is a HUGE difference. Yes, you're very correct on that. For past two years, I've been riding my dad's Honda Xl600L which is very similar to 650 so I have been getting lots of experience riding a heavy weight motorcycle. I feel that I have gottan enough confidence on it that I can handle the 650. If you click on the link you can see the bike. The reason it doesn't say that we one the auction is because we one it under my dads account and the link is under my accout. Wow, sorry for going on and on! Here's the link copy and paste it, take a look and tell me what you think: http://cgi.com/ebaymotors/1999-Honda-XR650L-XR650-L-Dual-Sport_W0QQitemZ4619227615QQcategoryZ50012QQssPageN ameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

from the GD to the Garage.

It's a garage not a "automobile forum", garages sell and repair motorcycles aswell (and trucks).

motorcycles tend to run on petrol as well, and can be fixed in a garage too!

personal opinions are to be shoved up your personal ass.
