Forum Bugs and Issues - Report Form

Please use this thread to relay all encountered bugs. Please keep it to one bug a reply. If you encounter a similar bug, there's no need for a 'me too' reply. I'll look into each of them. Also, please review the documented listing of the bugs before making a post as it keeps this thread up-to-date.

Format as follows;

be as descriptive as possibe

Type of browser used:
Firefox 1.5.x, Firefox 2.0.x, IE6, IE7, Opera, etc..

How to duplicate:
exact steps you did that gave you the error

Paste of error message encountered (if encountered):
If this was an sql error, please paste the error in this area, or if you encountered an error that vbulletin gave you the message, same applies.

Description of bug :
Can't get profile info on the left side of posts instead of above, even though there is an option dedicated for it in the control panel here : http://forums.filefront.com/profile.php?do=editoptions .

Type of browser used :
Irrelevent. But that's Mozilla Firefox 2 if you really want to know.

How to duplicate :
Get in your user control panel here : http://forums.filefront.com/profile.php?do=editoptions , do this :

and save changes.
Now load any thread page and see that the profile info are still not on the side.

hmm.. you shouldn't see that. It's from an old mod we had long ago, it must have resurfaced when they adjusted the settings.

and FYI, there is no option to change that per user basis.

Isn't there a new version of this mod for the current version of the forum ?
Or would it be possible that you change that option on the forum for a while (let's say, a week or so...) so we can see exactly how it is, then let the members vote for how they prefer the forum to be ? :angel:

eh.. because then if that was optional, again more work for us when we added something new. It's a separate template from the one we currently use that would need to be modified as well.

I cant give rep to some members and can give rep to other members anytime.

I use windows Xp pro with explorer and have never had trouble before or on other sites.

Have you spread reputation around to more then 20 people (taking into account anything that might have been deleted)?

You have to spread around reputation to 20 different people before being able to hand out reputation to the same person again. More over, their is a limit to the number of people you can give reputation per day.

I cant give rep over and over to certain flatmates, yet others, like Wassy, I can never give rep. Ive given to him once since Ive been a flatmate, that its, yet Section for instance, anytime. Watch, Ill do it again now. :<

See attached. I posted using quick reply and I got an error saying "The following Errors occured". I hit post (again) and that attached appeared. I refreshed, my post was not there. I exited the thread to the Tech forum, entered the thread again and my post appeared, however when I was looking at the forum all the threads seemed to have been posted in 1 minute ago. Clicked new posts, saw an entire page of one minute ago posts.

Also, it tells me I visited one hour ago. I was at the cinema seeing Spidey 3 and the PC was off. Nobody else has my password information.

Have a little patience. Believe it or not, there are far more important things to deal with.

Although if you'd leave an entire forum over something as silly and useless as a karma system... well... =/

Actually I think the time just got fixed. It's reading a time 5-6 hours later now then it used to around this time.
