Perhaps Edward Teach's or Black Bart's. So, what is the list of ranks? I just am seeing what terms we could use. Admiral o' th' Black Admiral Cap'n Privateer Swashbuckler Buccaneer Commander Lieutenant Longboat Commander(largest of the boats) Launch commander(one of the boats) Gig Commander(a smaller rowboat) Boatswain(or Bo'sun) Sailing Master Gunnery Master Master-at-arms Master's Mate Gunner Topsman(people who are really good with the sails, I forget what the exact word used is) Sailor Ship's Boy Landsmen Powder Monkey Lubber Mutineer( >:( ) |
