Making a movie in a sig hey ive tried all kind of sigs but i wondered, how do i make those sigs with a movie in it.. Ive read a lot of tutorials but it fails.. i want as a movie those small ones of spacebattles but must i reconfig them to mov.files? |
Re: Making a movie in a sig Export them into GIF files? |
Re: Making a movie in a sig Well, first of all, you need to understand that movies/.GIF files exist out of different frames, differing a slight bit per frame. All together this makes a 'moving' something. So, you'll need to have different frames to make a 'movie' in a sig. .MOV files are pretty handy getting those frames from. This is because .MOV files open in QuickTime (correct?), which allows you to go frame by frame (well, not totally, but kinda). For example, if you open a Trailer (Clickeh) , wait till it's loaded, and select a nice scene. Then, pause it, and then you can go 'frame by frame' by tapping the arrowkeys. I don't know if there is an other way to do it, but then PrintScreen the frames after eachother, and make this into a signature. Hope it helped you a tad bit, butI can't help you any further. Also, I don't know if this is the best way, but this is the only way I know. You could ask Jack(thehammer), as he seems pretty good with movies in signatures. |
Re: Making a movie in a sig thanks for responding! And indeed mov.files are being played by quicktime but i always wanted a entire movie of 1 minute on my sig or is that not possible.. |
Re: Making a movie in a sig thats gonna be faaaaaar too big.. a few seconds is max. any questions, pm me |
Re: Making a movie in a sig Very carefully! lol thanks K2D! |
Re: Making a movie in a sig If you have flash, you can upload it right through there. But it came out looking good, thanks for the help Griffen. |
Re: Making a movie in a sig If you have Adobe ImageReady you can open a video file and have it exported as a .gif animation. Its as easy as 1-2-3. But I am using Photoshop 7 so I don't know if they changed anything at all for the newest version. |
Re: Making a movie in a sig but you cant convert whole movies, youll be optimizing the hell out of it and probably crash imageready. |
Re: Making a movie in a sig bwoah never mind.. the sigs i have are good... |
Re: Making a movie in a sig O.o How to Export it?What Tool Do You Use? |
Re: Making a movie in a sig well if you have the movie file, just go to photoshop imageready and open the mov file |
Re: Making a movie in a sig So that did work for you then? |
Re: Making a movie in a sig eum yes it did i think. eum people this is a small movie that i want in my sig. can someone make it to show me how its done? thanks a lot!! movie added later |
Re: Making a movie in a sig i would make you one, but you don't have the clip you want in it. if can you repost for it in the other part of this forum & fill out the request part & i don't care what format your video is in i can change a wmv. or a avi. & a couple others to a mov. also i can make your video up to 5mb without it being a hassel to me. I do't know what kind of problem you are having while trying to make your own, but if its a gif. problem you need to use the save for the web feature & click on done for the images & videos you want to use then jump back & forth also u want to link all the images together then you will have to put all the frames in one by one "add the eyes one by one in order." whith this link & some of this stuff i said u can do it! http://www.visualdesigncore.com/tuto...op/Video-Sigs/ Dont forget to up the quality to 256. |
Re: Making a movie in a sig thanks... going to check it out. I wasnt able to put the video in my last post.. |
Re: Making a movie in a sig voila, how do you think my sig is? I think a little to fast but then you need to change the speed of each frame? + Which can i use for transformatting a wmv file to a mov file? |
Re: Making a movie in a sig well if you can do that you are well on your way to the whole deal. i found this one in a forum some where its in my download section, but i will try & post it here convert program |

Voila, a new movie sig that i made. Its from armored core http://img79.imageshack.us/img79/5782/elite4tl.gif |
Re: Making a movie in a sig You know what would be a great idea IMO. If you make another Star Trek movie sig, make the movie appear on the bridge mainscreen or something ;) |
Re: Making a movie in a sig IMO? what does it mean? aah excellent thinking! |
Re: Making a movie in a sig In My Opinion. ;) The new sig looks cool, but you need to work on three things: 1. Render stretching/picture stretching (it burns my eyes!) 2. Incorporating the movie into the sig, not sticking it next to it. 3. Crop that IGN symbol! And text could use some work, but you're getting there. |
Re: Making a movie in a sig hes doing the same thing I did when I started learning about movie sigs, you just want to make entire movies as visible as possible, hell I made movie sigs so big, they crashed my pc  he'll get there ;) |
