It's in the filter menu, what you do is use the ''highlighter'' and go around the edge of what you are trying to select. You will get a better selection if you have a high contrast between your edge and whatever background it is on. Once you have went around the object and made it a closed path you use the paintbucket tool in the extract filter menu(right under or over the ''highlighter I forget) and then you go preview. Now it happens most of the time that there are errors in the selection so you need to do some touching up but it is a rather nice tool to use because it is quick and if your picture has enough contrast it will work great. You can't always use it, but it's the same for every technique. |
