Here's a couple of tips:
1. Make a thread only if you're going to keep updating it with more stuff. If it's just for one image, it's a waste of space and it'd be better in the "rate the sig above you" thread in Spamming Forum.
2. Post it in the right forum. I think "Signatures And Avatars- Showcase and Requests" is self-explanatory enough.;)

Its not bad, you used Green Armani's wallpaper...but its a very nice one. The font isn't that good, and it looks kind of jagged (not sure why). But overall its pretty good.

If you had to improve something, improve the text.

I haven't been able to find any effects sites for stuff like styles and gradients. But DeviantART and 1001 free fonts are good for fonts.

oh, yeah pixel2life is the best tutorial site i have ever seen, sleek looks, easy navigation, and a huge array of tutorials for different programs. Only problem is i don't have 7.0 or CS so most of the tutorials that are listed i can't do.

I thinkt the font for the word network on the bottom is hard to read unless your 1337 or what not. The sig is also huge. People need to realize that 400X150 should be the maximum for sigs. The bigger they are the crappie these sigs become and they should just be banners.

That is BS, man. Sig size should be regulated by your idea and how much material you have, not by one standard alone. I've made sigs that are small and looked good (those who got them liked them, at least) and I've made some big ones so that more detail can stand out (people also liked those). No sense in working hard to make a tiny sig where none of the detail stands out...

I agree with Phoenix on that one

But your new one . . . first you didn't do much, it's just kind of white with a pic on top facing two different directions, and second I personally find Christa Aguilera repulsive, so I don't like your new one a whole lot :clueless:

Kournikova and Cuthbert as a sig theme is a little odd, they don't go together all that much :clueless:

The image is blended well on either side, but the dividing line between Kournikova and Cuthbert could still be a bit finer.

And as a general whole I havn't seen much in using original work that you've created yourself, it's mostly pictures pasted together, maybe a bit more of a unique approach would help too :uhm:

Now for your sigs... I don't like them. Though thats because, I utterly HATE sigs that use just a bunch of images shoved into a frame.

Myth, try to suggest ways of making it better not whats just wrong with them. Sure you said can help make the text better but that's the first time. I utterly hate critics who don't help you improve and don't show their work either :P

Well, try anyway. One thing I can see is that you like that style a little too much. Practice making borders and make doodles to use as backgrounds.
This is how you make doodles:
Make a pattern or texture (difference clouds, multiple gradients in difference mode, waves, take a picture and apply polar coordinates, etc), then apply one or 2 filters to it and finally colorize it. Explore Photoshop just to see what you can do with it. The worst thing that can happen is that you'll have a folder full of stuff. ;)

I like the backgrounds on those. I rather like the top two (Wolf Legend and your current sig). Also the Chelsea SOCCER (as an American, I refuse to say football in context to my favorite sport [soccer] ) one is quite good, even though the dude on the right (whom I apparantly am not familiar with) scares me. The grided version of that one is the better of the two.

The one thing here I'm not overly fond of, the one with the female in it, although artistically is sound and all, needs the animation worked on a little, it really doesn't look like she's winking, more like her eye turned transparant. More darks and eye lash development at the bottom of the "eye lid" would make that look a lot better.

Also, just an observation, you seem to like having one image smack in the middle a lot, which is fine for individual sigs, it's balanced, but once in a while it'd be nice see them mixed up a bit, while remaining balanced. May require like an image on the right and them making some artistic design to your name on the left as to balance your image. Like I said, yours are all individually great, just would be nice to mix things up a bit once in a while don't ya think ;)

Seph's right, that's what I thought. I won't show them since I don't wanna clog up yer thread, but I'll say what they are:
Every single one of your sigs on this page...

Seems to me like all you've done is pasted the background in, changed the hue and lightness, put an image in... Then some text, and then.. That's it.


You may want to try making a different background, there's a thread around here with resources and stuff I believe. ;)

Like Pheonix said, you've got some damn good blending stuff on those pics, especially the tennis ones. Good job on that.

well then, ur sigs are quite nice, the only thing i can recommend is that, instead of using all those dots on ur bg.. try scan lines

Zoom in to 1600%. Then colour it all, and select half with the rectangular marquee tool and delete it.
