I think the avatar would look better if you flipped the face, rain and everything the other direction, but I still think it looks cool as is

CorT's right, I'm afraid, that is one adjustment you could make (much like yod@'s signature). Nonetheless, it looks quite good.

That kind of rain effect doesn't look good in a close-up. Drops would look bigger and would also create splashes all over his face, and the splashes would run down. It'd look better without it or having it behind him, as if he's inside, but you can see the rain behind him.
