yeah but with milkshape you can't add certain effects like you can in bryce they are specially made to render images

Milkshape is used more to make moving models for games, because of its abilities to create 'bones' and weigh skeletons, etc.

3D Studio Max (My Favorite), GMax, Milkshape3D, Lightray 3D... and more.
Milkshape = Freeware (I believe).
LR3D = You got to pay to export as a model.
3D Studio Max = Very expensive
GMax = I dont know.
