Re: Gold Beach (MAP) I think its very odd but the barrage balloons look the EXACT same as those in a game called Pacific Warriors and the cows look like the ones from ummm I forgot if it was call of duty or medal of honor... Then again the graphics where not that good in pacific warrior and im sure barrage balloons looked the same and I dont know how cows can look diffrent... lol |
Re: Gold Beach (MAP) I can guarentee you that the Omaha Beach invasion gets nowhere near as much praise in Britain, or in any country other than the US, for that matter. |

I assure you both the barrage baloons and the cows were made from scratch. We do not use models from other games, altho we are using the music from MOH, with permission from EA might i add. |
Re: Gold Beach (MAP) Bah, im not going to argue anymore about omaha. it has way more to do with the fact that it was the american beach, and they fucked it up, then how hard the resistance was. Anywho, as asked before, how far back will the beach go? Something nice and long like keriliea would be sweet. |
Re: Gold Beach (MAP) how about a sniper kit left somewhere hard-to-find? Nothing beats taking potshots from a crater. It'll be old-school sniping (WWI that is). |

Re: Gold Beach (MAP) Omaha Beach is recognized because it was an American landing beach where almost 250,000 soldiers were killed or wounded. Heres the beach landings: Omaha and Utah-Americans Gold and Sword-British Juno-Canadian/British Omaha was the deadliest beach because every other beach had DD(duplex drive) tanks. These tanks left the Navy fleet 2 hours before the landing crafts did. The DD tanks were supposed to land on the beach right before the infantry(these tanks could travel both on land and sea because a propeller was added) and destroy the gunners in the pillboxes and sandbags. 26 out of the 28 sank before they reached the beach and thats why you see the men getting slaughtered because there was no suppressing fire from the DD tanks. Other beaches had minimal casualties because they had the DD tanks on their beaches. Anyways, nice models on the cows and barrage balloons. |

Re: Gold Beach (MAP) I thought it was something like 5000..... |
Re: Gold Beach (MAP) 175,000 men took part in the beach landings total... 250,000 died on omaha? ;) But seriously, us americans fucked omaha for ourselves. Our bombers missed the beach/bunkers by miles, whereas the other beaches were bombed to oblivion. |
