Sounds great!

Tho am I the only one who doesnt like the Cromwell's skin?..it kinda looks plastic to me. Not at all like the quality and 3d feeling of the Tiger and Stug3G skins..

I'm sure the camouflage color is the right one and all that jazz..but still..

The Panther G's side superstructure differs from the Panther D, but i'm sure you know that.

I've got a little idea btw. The Germans used Panther turrets as pillboxes, called "Ostwallturm" in Italy (the Hitler line) etc. Could be fun as an addition? Rather than having the unrealistic DICE Def guns and would sure look more natural inlands.

I agree, the pillbox Panther guns would make a great emplacement defence.

I've been following FH since NOV 2002...I haven't posted because I've never found it fit until they actually release their first version where I could actually critique their work rather than just comment on it...alright, well I posted those names (I don't know why I put Raze...he's a skinner form BHDown...I meant Rad...)...to me these are the best of the bunch...sure FH has other great talent such as Armin Ace, Barracuda, AceS, and the rest of the 50+ team, but these guys stand out...

Subbo - no one can deny the amazing skins he creates / for being a novice model he can blow most of the FH team away
Lobo - awesome modeller...most amazing for his quick speed and high quality skins (swordfish for example)
Rad - second best skinner, second only to Subbo...his skins look pretty life-like but still retain their game appearance
Master Minder - My opinion changes with the creation of the MG34 and M1 Carbine...since then his models seem top notch
Dfast - definately a talented modeller and skinner...one of the best modellers, a great skinner...and he's doing my favorite theater of the war...

I think its appropriate that we can all state our opinions in these forums instead of just bland "great job" comments...I'd like to see FH be one of the best mods out there...but I don't see how it can be without the support of the community and a truthful voice about our opinions on the mod...the FH mod is great, no doubt...but it has to be clear, as with all mods...that its not perfect...

Preciselly what i am trying to do; alerting the FH team for mistakes or corrections that could be done.

And i do it, because i know they are the best team out there, and that they can do it. And because i love the mod. I would'nt even bother to say anything if i didn't, right?

"People downloaded CS after HL stopped being updated, people downloaded and paid for RO even though you could get it for free on UT2k4, people were still playing BF42, DC and FH in far higher numbers than BF:V. Its not when it is released, it is how good the game is." - Augustus, 25/10/06.

I agree. Soviets are in need of something more than the T-34 & T-34/85 in the current game.

To be quite honest, I feel that the render simply doesn't do the skin justice, not trying to defend my work it's just how can you possibly judge it from seeing one maybe two screenshots of something...

This screenshot contains the same skin/model and quoting "that hull machine gun looks like a fucking broomstick" you can see what I mean about the render...

thats 3 shots of the skin and it looks bad from all of them.

actually this one makes me dislike it even more. I can see the lack of detail up close. and please please PLEASE don't tell me you textured the camo with a photoshop patern or filter.

the gun still looks like a broom stick. And a badly skinned broomstick at that. I would suggest you go study up on some skinning tutorials (i'd give you some, but i seem to have lost all my favorates)

"And a badly skinned broomstick " It's the latest MG34 models skin by Rad.... What I justed posted did a complete flyby didn't it? MY point is to everyone, dont go about knocking peoples work until you have seen it in game, this applies to anyone elses work as much as my own.

We mean the main gun, not the hull MG!

Go back and read what I wrote before.

Direct quote: "At least the BG42 version has a gun that doesn't look a fucking broomstick." Never did I say "machine gun".

The next Panther that Omni does will be the best we've seen. He has improved with every model.

Here's an example of a Panther model I found on the web. This is the kind of quality we can look forward to with Omnis' improvements.
