I recommend "Panzerkrieg: The Rise and Fall of Hitler's Tank Divisions" quite heartily.

It has lots of detail, good photo-evidence, and is relatively recent (2002 publication).

Have lots of fun!

p.s. It has a nice photo of a Stug with Schurzen plating at Salerno!

One WW2 book i enjoyed reading was a book on how people won the MOH.
