All the machine gun animations should be fixed so that the gunner is prone almost level with the top of the gun. IRL machine gunners did not expose themselves very much over the top of a bunker.

Oh and I also agree on making them more turnable. I grabbed a .50cal kit on Bulge and ran around the whole map looking for a good spot to deploy it, but there isn't much when the thing only turns 30 degrees or so. it should be the same as stationary Browning .50; that is to say, nearly 180 degrees around.

its .30cal, not way its .50. that for mounted vechiles. all other stationary MGs should use the crouch animation. the Gun on a stick on a sandbag MG should be replaced with tripod mounted MGs.

actualy they had 50 cal machinguns which could be deployed by a team just like a 30 cal. I am also pretty sure that the allies MG that DICE modeled is the M2 50 cal machinegun used in WW2 and today in the US army.

the deployed machinegun is a .50 cal...the .30 cal have different handles...

maybe the FH mod is using the .50 cal as a model for their .50 and .30...but if you ever look as a .30 cal in real life you'll notice it has a single handle vs. the twin handles of the .50 cal...

oh...and most deployable machineguns for infantry divisions were .30 cal...

today they still use the .50 cal and if you see it fire you'll notice its more of a cannon than anything...they are pretty big and difficult to move...the .30 cal is much lighter and less powerful but can be carried and mounted on lighter vehicles like jeeps...

heh...a .50 cal sounds like "chunk, chunk, chunk"

while a .30 cal sounds like the ingame sounds...

yea I was pretty sure that they just used the M2 by Dice for both 30 and 50 cal. Or maybe they only have 50 cals on planes.......

I thought to myself if that MG on the back of the jeep is supposed to be a 50 cal than the jeep would be doing flips when it fired. :)

Its a 50 cal. Dice wrongly skinned the ammo box to say 7.92mm(30 cal).

in real life...it should be a .30 cal on top of that jeep...heh...so instaed of just wrongly skinning the gun they placed it wrongly...

I hope FH puts in there .30 cal to take out those misconceptions...
