graphics/texture problems - not FH related

Hi guys,

I got problems with BF since vanilla BF. It's not a mod-related problem,
maybe it's a hardware prob, tho I don't have probs with other (3D, FPS) games.

See the pic to see what I mean. After a few minutes playing I get those
nice crappy trash on screen which sometimes disappears but often BF crashes totally.

Anyone ever got this prob before ?

Setup: Athlon XP2200+, 256 Mb (PC133), Leadtek GF4Ti4200/64Mb
Drivers: tried various, none gave any improvements.
Overclocked: Nope, even underclocked the GF4 ! (to 220/470 Mhz)
Athlon isn't OCd, neither FSB.

open your case...your GFC seems to overheat...but you underclocked it...very...interessting...

Either your video card is duff *or* you need some ventilation on that system. I would think the latter. A fan on the front - maybe a 5 1/4 bay mounted fan - and one on the back (they do em to fit slots) would help things out alot.

I have a whole lot more kit in my system than yours, but with a similar implementation to the above (my case has proper 80mm mounts).

Worth a try anyway since yer can get em for a couple dollars/sterling!
