By updated texture, I mean the American Forces are displayed as giant pandas, armed with bamBoo-m-sticks..

As in, I've decided to stay on the devs good side and say nothing more

Wow just realized there was a news update out on Sunday. Looks amazing. I think Pointe Du Hoc was one of the most desired D-Day maps which was not in FH.7. I am glad to see that it is in here.

I assume the line:
Quote:
The first of our maps, taking place on June 6th 1944, we are showing off today and portrays the battle of Pointe Du Hoc.
is there to reassure anyone who might possibly interpret this to mean that there will be no Charlie Sector. (Regulars to the forum of course are not worried about that...)

kind of hard to explain the differences as far as infantry fighting go.. I mean, new weapons, new environment....I suck as badly in both theatres but in normandy at least I can hide somewhere, waiting for my chance to ambush or sneak around... yeah thats me, the lame, camping, sneaky ambush dude..

NA is virtually the opposite of Normandy, but both theatres have awesome infantry possibilities (just check 2.15 incredible maps!) and now the number of maps in FH2 is starting to reach some decent levels.. (I think FH2 just passed BF2 in number of maps with 2.15, or am I wrong? dunno how many is in vanilla).
Needless to say: no other game has portrayed Normandy the way FH2 is doing it; big, tough and loud, and in the same time in such an immersive breathing environment...
congrats to beregil for his map!

Vanilla BF2 has 12 maps...FH2 has 16 maps, 3 of which came from 2.15, so actually FH2 passed the vBF2's map number at 2.1...

And Natty are you a beta tester or something b/c you seem to know alot about FH2 but I wasn't absolutely sure...

Inshallah this map will be as fun to play as it is sexy. I'd imagine so

Cheers for the update, and can't wait to play.

Somehow I got used to the ever sunny NA and don't want to leave it so much now.

(basing my knowledge off BF2SF) You don't get a TK if you 'cut the rope' on someone. It simply counts as a falling death.
