Hey, sorry if this has been answered before but I searched and I couldn't find anything on how to get this thing to work exactly. I tried what it said to do on the homepage but im not a real wiz with computers so idk, it just hasn't worked for me. If someone could tell me how to make this work it would be much appreciated, as I would love to try it out.
go to your FH folder ( Example C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\fh2 )
Right click, hover the mouse over "New", so that a new submenu appears to the right. There select "Text Document".
Now you can type in a name for the file. Instead of having it "New Text Document" type in "immersive-hud"
Press Enter
If you get a pop-up message saying that the file will be unstable.. add a ".txt" after the word "hud" in the name, so it would spell out "immersive-hud.txt"
if you don't get a pop-up message saying that, you don't need to add it!
Now start FH2, and enjoy a clean new look of the hud :P
Talked with Purity about adding a function to the toolbox to toggle enable/disable Immersive Mode from easy check-box. So a common player doesnt have to wiggle with (altho simple) .txt files.
Thanks for the help FatJoe, but I have one problem, whenever I right-click it will only allow me to make a new folder, not a new txt file. Idk whats wrong. Does the fact that I have vista have something to do with it?
