It is Charnwood but only because that map has a full-on airfield so it can be used for taking ingame screens of planes The final map probably won't have Axis air support.

No axis air support? I hope you guys don't just make stuff actual realistc and give germans no air support, I loved the late war maps in fh1 with fw-190 vs typhoon in breakthrough.

I expect the semi auto Garand will function like the semi auto mode on BF2 vanilla's M16 - it does indeed fire as fast as you can click. However, FH2's actual recoil should see to anyone trying to use it as an assault rifle.

Yes, all of the German planes will just be broken down statics, or locked for players immitating the lack of pilots.

Very true. One thing people should realize is that movies use blanks, not live rounds. When they do this, the people will not have any recoil, and are therefore able to fire incredibly fast without any sight deviation. In reality, aimed shots with the Garand should require the same time as with the K98k (if the devs ever made it so that the K98k sights don't drop, like in real life). The advantage the Garand holds is the ability to spray lead, thus making up a little for the BAR and its inability to give suppressing fire (20 clip + slow rate of fire).

HOwever, in the end, in long range confrontations, the Garand should be equal, no more no less, to the K98k.

Yes, and actually a Garand has about a 800 yard range of effectiveness. But in Fh2 your not gonna see much at 500 let alone 800.

I own a Garand, and I am able to accurately fire with a rate of about 1 shot ever 1 and 1/2 to 2 seconds. Depends.

Hey FH-Devs, it would be great, if that could be done in the next patch:

- Just let people drive with tank crew kits, which have also a MP 40 or P38

- Fix the explosions (missiong explosion effects and sounds)

- Don't let mines instantly kill big tanks

Just my wishes so far.
