Don't forget the Germans are getting the g43, which in most videogames is better then the m1 garand. However its probably going to be a lot rarer then the m1 garand, but I hope they'll use it to balance it out somewhat.

I wonder what weapon(s) seth is working on next. I hope to see the bar and thompson m1 soon.

The "ping" was a double-edged sword -- some soldiers and Marines would carry spent clips and throw them to get enemy soldiers to break cover and look whoever was out of ammo, only to get shot.

Indeed the ping from reloding the M1 Garand is somthing that whas used both ways, i have heard that aswell.

And year the Bar would be awesome as next weapon;-) one off my favorite weapons.

Can someone post data on a Garand HEAT rifle grenade penetrating 100mm of armor? Thats almost enough to penetrate a Tiger I tank through the front armor.

That very suspicious to me. HEAT round penetration is relative to their diameter, larger the diameter the better the penetration. Usually the diameter to penetration ratio doesnt even out til about 60mm diameter HEAT round.

Indeed, 100mm penetration is what a bazooka round gets. I doubt a rifle-grenade will get anywhere near that.

Ive got a question concerning the rate of fire of the Garand and G43.



In Fh1, the G43 could shoot so fast that you could empty your clip in 1 second, whereas it took the garand to empty the clip some 2-3 seconds. Are these guns going to be like that in Fh2 or will they be faster/slower?

This is another thing a lot of videogames get wrong. Most semi auto rifles load faster then full auto ones, so they should be able to fire as fast as you can pull the trigger. Of course the recoil will probably get out control, but its possible so I hope FH2 incorporates it. I might be wrong though because the trigger mechanism might not be as fast as the blowback. I just hope the FH2 team gets it realistic and balanced.
