no we dont want to have a Hanomag with a Roof. its simple not usefull in battle. and since we are limited to the vehicle numbers on one map. we will not include that version.

How is it not useful to have a grenade cover above your head?

There is no such thing as a hanomag with a roof. The closest thing was sometimes having a cloth cover drapped over the top, and that sure as hell isn't going to stop a handgrenade.

Otherwise, there are no 250 or 251 versions that have a roof. Sorry, not happening.

Postwar, the Czechs used a type, the OT-810 that they did put an armoured roof over, but it was hated by its crews....

Just a camo net against plane and camo spotting, right? Or was the weird green cloth from v1942 realistic?!

The weird green cloth was sometimes, rarely, seen. I've seen like, one photo. It was def not used for combat, as the hanomag was used like a rolling pillbox, with the crew fighting from behind the armor. In fact, the little hook on the bottom end of the barrel of the Mp40 is specifically for it to hook onto the side of the hanomag. The bipod on hte MG34 and 42 could do the same thing. Also, deployment was usually two using the back doors, and the rest of the crew jumping over the sides.

Frist off, damn Von Mudra you're like a walking encyclopedia

Second off, I really really wish that ppl would start using the hanomags in game like they were used in real life (to an extent). To my knowledge, I'm the only person that I know of that uses slow moving tanks and APCs as cover. Sure I look like the only idiot on the battlefield sprinting up to the front lines behind a Matilda (the only tank slow enough to keep up with) but I really wish that I could see more ppl doing it with me, 'cause it sure as hell works wonders.

And another thing that I really hate, is on maps like Tobruk where a guy nabs a 251 and drives up to an outpost with it, hops out and dies. IMO squadleaders are the only ones who should be in the hanomags, so their guys can spawn up, jump out and attack the flags.

I propose two things to maybe help increase what I'm looking for on the battlefield.

1) a default infantry jogging speed for all vehicles, so as not to separate from the infanty, and to use tanks and such as cover.

2) making the APCs, universal carriers included, spawnable, so as to simulate the mass amounts of mobile infantry that it could bring to a flag.

It would be cool if you could like in FH1 enter and exit but still be inside the Hanomag and use the backdoors to get out.

If possible to code (I knew you did it initially with the Tank coupla) would be if you could press crouch to 'pop up' out of the hanomag or brencarrier, stand somewhat, so you can try and shoot :P Though the angles you sit at in trucks and hanomags makes that practically impossible heh. Just make the rear MG swing a full 180 :P

what they could do is:

1: allow you to turn full 360 while seated.

2: Unless you hit crouch, your standing in the back

3: Your gun has same accuracy as if prone. That's something that is rather hard to explain, but to put it lightly. When the hanomag is stopped, your accuracy would be fine, resting on the armor side. When it moves, the gun still would shoot just as straight as normal, it is the movement of the hanomag that would cause shots to go wide. But that is already shown because when the hanomag moves ingame, your bouncing all around and won't be able to get off perfect shots. Duly, guns fired form it should have perfect accuracy, just like the MG34s mounted on it, and the innaccuracy while moving will happen by itself.
